What is it?

Miss business socialising at events? This is our online social network of executives built by you and facilitated by us. You can join, ask for advice, socialise, make new business connections, and exchange strategies.

The Reuters Events networking platform allows you to connect with your industry peers. You can easily schedule a time and generate a link to a virtual meeting room for you to meet with fellow attendees in a 1-to-1 setting.

How does it work?

It’s incredibly simple. Use the desktop version and sign-in using your unique logins. You would have received an email from Hello@swapcard.com with your password.

How to update my information?


With LinkedIn:

It's really easy to import your profile information from LinkedIn. In fact, by synchronizing your profile with LinkedIn, the app imports your profile picture, job title, company and biography. To allow the LinkedIn sync, click on "My profile", then click on your name and click on the LinkedIn button.


Manually:

On our website (app.swapcard.com), click on your name at the top of your screen, then click on the edit button on the side of the fields you want to modify. Once you have finished updating your information, click on the green tick in order to save your modifications.

Note: Press "Enter" after each skills in order to create them.

Attendees

How can I connect with attendees?


By sending a connection request:

Access the profile of the attendees you want to connect with and click on "Connect", write your message and send it. The recipients will be alerted immediately. Once they accept your request, you'll get access to their contact details and they will have access to yours. All your contacts are displayed in the Contact tab.

How to book a meeting with attendees?

To book a meeting with attendees, visit their profile and click on "See more" in the meeting slots window. Select the time that fits for you, then select the place and add a message to your request before sending it. Once your meeting is accepted, you'll receive a notification within the app. Get a report of all your meetings in the "My visit" tab by clicking on the meeting logo.

What is happening if I connect with someone who is not using the app?

When connecting with attendees, you can send them a message. Once your request is sent, the recipients get a notification on their phone through the app.

Furthermore, if the attendee never logged into the app, they will receive an email within 6 hours informing them of all their pending meetings and requests.

Sponsors & Exhibitors

How to book meetings with sponsors and exhibitors?

To book a meeting with sponsors and exhibitors, visit an exhibitor's page and click on "See more" in the meeting slots window. Select the company you want to meet, the time that fits for you, then select the place and add a message to your request before sending it. Once your meeting is accepted, you'll receive a notification within the app. Get a report of all your meetings in the "My visit" tab by clicking on the meeting logo.

How can I know who the sponsors and exhibitors are?

Get access to the team members by clicking on a sponsor or exhibitor’s page. Once you access the page, swipe down and the members will be displayed. Connect with them the same way as you do with other participants.
